OK, I've got to clear up this "sticky pad" problem. Firstly, there are a
number of reasons that a particular pad/key can stick or appear sluggish;
many of these have been discussed. What I have to clear up is the way in
which people are correcting the problem of a pad sticking to the tone hole.

1. Don't use any kind of pad powder or talc. It will eventually collect
dirt and amplify the problem.

2. Don't use a dollar bill; they are dirty and will eventually amplify the
problem and/or wear the tone hole and/or pad.

3. Use a piece of cigarette paper between the pad and the tone hole. This
paper is the least abrasive and will neither harm the tone hole or the pad.

4. If the cigarette paper doesn't work, remove the key and wipe the pad
with denatured alcohol. Wipe the tone hole surface with a clean, soft, dry
cloth.

Hope this advise proves helpful.
