Try using one of those file storage boxes (heavy cardboard with handles) -
available through most office supply stores. I have used one successfully
for a 15 inch high pile of church organ music! These should cost about $5.00.

The other idea is get one of those large "lawyers'" document case - like a
large brief case about 7 inches thick - will take legal size folders (8 1/2"
by 14") and so will handle music manuscrips with ease. This would be a
better bet if you are having to move your clarinet quartet scores from place
to place frequently! Some of these legal brief cases come with locks which
may be a consideration as well. Should be able to get one for about $150.00.

Cheers

Ian
