I'd second the vote for these bags... before I got a pro-pack case I had
one of the old Buffet cases that had a tendency to not stay closed, so I
used one of these Land's End bags to carry my clarinet as well as all my
music... it's large enough to accomodate the big music portfolios and is
also very durable. Mine has a zippered pocket on the side that opens up
and has lots of little pockets and such which are great for stashing
reeds, cork grease, metronomes, etc... They're relatively inexpensive
(about $39 I think) and they really worked well for my needs!

Just my $0.02 worth....
