When in Japan my wife bought some clear plastic boxes that have
snap lids & handles (semi-soft plastic). Just fits most music
scores. Each box is about 4" deep. I haven't looked for them in
the U.S., though, but I'd imagine that they might be found at one
of the major U.S. office supply stores.

Also, one of my kids discovered that there is a size of portfolio
carriers at art supply stores what fits most sheet music pretty
well. I don't think it'll hold 6" of music, though ...
