I've seen a lot of discussion on the list about temperature and humidity
considerations for both reeds and instruments. I am using something
called Pad Savers ( kind of a fuzzy thing that slips inside the sections
of your clarinet when it is disassembled). Intuitively it seems like
these might soak up any little bits of moisture you might miss when you
swab. The question of course is can this be true and is it smart to use
these?
