Doug,

I've been using a lip splint for 21 years. Its basically what
people ware at night to keep them from grinding their teeth. It
normally goes all the way around to the back molars. What I did was
cut it so it just covered the front 6 lower teeth where you need it.I
usually cut them myself to fit.In the beginning the dentist did for
me.One sphint will last 2 or 3 years ,if you take care of it.The
dentist has to make a mold of all your teeth which he them makes
several plastic splints from that. They all has to be cut down to
fit. These sphints can be made in different thicknesses so you'll have
to experiment, but its worth it.When I first had them made it was
about 100 bucks ,but I'm sure its higher now ,but like I said its
worth it. Most of the time I don't even know its there .Without these
splints I really believe my career would have been cut short.

Get one,

Pete
