Neither the K&M nor the Blayman stand are designed to hold the bass
clarinet while actually playing it. They're intended only for resting
the instrument while doing something else. I don't know of any
bass clarinet stand which is intended to be used in a playing
context, although such stands for soprano clarinet do exist.
