Beginning this Friday morning, the klarinet list will be moving its home.
There is nothing you need to do immediately, as the list will be automatically
be transferred over to its new host.

The most immediate thing you will notice is that if you were getting messages
in digest form, they will start coming individually.

Specific information:
Mail for klarinet will (as of 10AM EDT, 11 Apr 1997) go to:
klarinet@-----.us
The old address for klarinet (with a gateway was)
klarinet%vccscent.bitnet@-----.edu

Commands for the listserv will go to:
majordomo@-----.us

to subscribe to klarinet, the command (to majordomo) is
subscribe klarinet
or
subscribe klarinet-digest

PLEASE NOTE that if you wish to get klarinet in digest form, you will have to
unsubscribe to klarinet, and then subscribe to klarinet-digest.

It might take the sysop a while to get digest sorted out, however.

A command summary can be gotten from majordomo@-----.us with
the command:
help

The archives will be moved as well, and if you have any links to them,
please contact Kan Ballard (tcballk@-----. Please DO NOT contact
Ken about the list, thats what Cap and me are for!

There will be a period of several days after Friday morning where anything
sent to the old address will be automatically forwarded to the new address.

We think that you will be pleased with the new service, particularly with
the shorter address.
