I hope Dr. Spring does not travel to humid climates or his pine barrel would
change shape mercilessly. I do believe he uses a Pyne.

(Sorry Dan but the setup was too good to resist.)

Is this the same Bob Spring who was at U of Mich. back in the early to mid
Seventies? (first chair in symphony band).
