Do you have any ideas as to how one could seal the tubes in the reed
without breaking them?

I'm enjoying this reed conversation - I have a recital coming up on the
18th, and am starting my process to prepare a good reed for it.
Hopefully what I learn in here will produce the reed I'm looking for!
