Oiling your clarinet is an interesting subject. I'm not an expert, but I
do know that my clarinet has never cracked in a harsh climate - Arizona
Desert - and I don't oil my clarinet, but others who's clarinets have
cracked do oil their clarinets. Odd, eh?! If anyone has any thoughts on
this strange phenomonon - please let me know!
