ha-ha!!! i know what you're saying. that was a good one. :-) i also
found that when you move that mountain to find the reed that moves
mountains, it seems that it only lasts for a short period of time. this
season is the season for inconsistency in reeds too -- is it not? (in
texas, that is. it is in the 60s-70s with lots of rain one day and then
dry sun the next, then wind the next). aren't reeds as consistent as the
weather? i should have picked the flute or trumpet to play in the 6th
grade so i wouldn't have to worry about reeds. but i love the clarinet
and will deal with reeds, or rather reed inconsistencies.
