Actually, we are talking about a product of nature, which is bound to change
with the vintage, location and particular plant. Just like wine...

Next year - last years favorite may be shat upon by all who sing its praises
today.

One of the best boxes of reeds I bought was Vandoren "White Master" (a name
that made me very nervous until I learned they also make "Black Master" -
Just my liberal jitters.)

I also found a "Marca" that came with a clarinet which was like a jewel.

I have also had bad reeds from everyone.

This is what makes it so excitiing. The constant search.

When you have a good reed you can move mountains!
