Langenus was a Belgian clarinetist whose 3 volume tutor is very useful
and in print. I recall reading that he "had a light sound like an oboe"
and used vibrato, which was repugnant to a particular conductor. His
marketed Langenus mouthpiece had a concave curve to the beak like a duck
bill, similar to the Morgan clarinet mouthpiece.
