I don't know about performances, but I have a 1992 CD called Homage a
Benny Goodman that features Eduard Brunner and the Bavarian Radio
Symphony Orchestra playing pieces commissioned by Goodman--Concertos by
Hindemith, Copland, and Milhaud, along with the frisky Scaramouche, also
by Milhaud. I don't expect to be playing any of them in this lifetime,
but it's nice to listen to them anyway. The liner notes said that for
some reason Goodman himself never performed the Milhaud Concerto. If
you are planning on tackling this, good luck and by all means post the
information about your recital on the Klarinet list!
