Subj: Trill Question about Sonata #1, Teleman, 6-Canonic Sonatas
Date: Wed, 2 Apr 1997 19:20:16 -0500

I am looking for information as to the playing of the trills in the first
movement of
Sonata #1, by Telemen. This sonata is from the "6 Canonic Sonats". The edition
that I am using is by Reginald Kell.

In Bar 11, should you trill from B to C or from B to C-Sharp?

In Bar 32, should you trill from the A to A-Sharp or A to B?

In Bar 33, should you trill from the F to F-Sharp or F to G?

In general, for this piece, is it better to trill up a half tone or a whole
tone? Please note
that the arrangement I am using is for B-Flat clarinet.

Any help on the above matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Gerry
