I am having fun with my new Eflat clarinet; however, I am having trouble
with a glissando required in the orchestral part from altissimo D to clarion
B (a minor third down). I can do this beautifully with the Bflat, but
something about the break and the eflat mouthpiece defeats me and all I get
is a sqeak most times, and the gliss is not reproducible. Any thoughts? I
have tried several different fingerings (all the ones listed in the Hadcock
book) without any more success. Thanks in advance for any advice.
