Another vote for neck straps. I use one most of the time. It seems
to prevent recurrence of right wrist and thumb pain from an earlier
bout with carpal tunnel and RSI. I don't seem to have the neck
problems that others on the list have mentioned, but that may be a
very personal issue. Another plus for me, though, is that the strap
relieves tension in my right hand which seems to make it easier for me
to do fast passage work with that hand.
