Subj: Glissando Question
Date: Sat, 29 Mar 1997 02:48:47 -0500

Hi everyone. I'm currently working on Berstein's Prelude, Fugue and =
Riffs, and have a question about the glissando in measure 175. It calls =
for a gliss from B ' ' ' to F# ' ' ' '. Now, I can gliss fine when =
taking away fingers, as in the Rhapsody in Blue solo, but every =
fingering I know for F# would require ADDING fingers from B ' ' ', and I =
can't for the life of me figure out how to gliss while doing that, =
especially to such an awkward note. I really don't want to have to do a =
chromatic finger gliss, I would feel like such a wimp. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Rob Teitelbaum
