Doug,
Not everyone on the Klarinet list uses plastic or fabric ligatures. I have
a Luyben (good for mouthpiece trials) and a Rovner (anyone want to buy an
Eddie Daniels model?) but I prefer metal ligatures. For me, the sound is
just as good or better with a metal ligature and I find them easier to
handle. I am using an inverted Bonade on my Bb and have one for my bass
clarinet mouthpiece also. (I wonder if an alto sax or tenor sax inverted
Bonade will work on an alto clarinet? Has anyone tried this?)
