Klarinet Archive - Posting 000879.txt from 1997/03

After giving my C clarinet a fair workout on "Traviata", I am of the
opinion that several of the high notes are unreasonably stuffy -- Bb 3, B3
and C3 above the staff. Sometimes they don't want to speak at all. Has
anyone else encountered this problem, and is there a solution? It appears
to me that the side Eb-Bb key is rather close and could afford to open out
more, yet that does not explain the high C problem.

TIA for the help!
