David Pino, in his book (The Clarinet & Clarinet Playing, Scribner's) at
page 262, says that Riepe wrote the piece for him, and they are friends.
So if you can reach Pino (his book says he teaches at Southwest Texas
State, San Marcos, Texas) he might be able to help you. I played 3 Studies
on Flight a few years ago after reading about it in Pino. I loved it, and
your note makes me want to revisit it. Good luck!

Does anyone have any biographical information on the composer Russell
Riepe? I'm performing his "3 Studies on Flight" in a recital but I can't
find his date(s) anywhere! Can anybody help me out?
