I'd like. (I have a special love for double high C's.) As for growls and =
flutters, I believe the difference is in the throat. A flutter tongue =
simply involves fluttering the tongue, whereas a growl involves...well, =
growling, from the throat, usually accompanied by flutter tonguing. At =
least, that's how I get a growl, and that's how I did it on trombone =
during that dark time in my life when I was doubling. (If anyone's =
thinking of doubling brass and woodwind, DON'T! Brass totally screwed up =
my clarinet embouchure, and I didn't recover for over a year!)
