I hate to ask this on the list but I've searched all over the web and
can't seem to find out how to reconfigure my Windows session to
recognize MIDI files. I'm using Windows (3.1) under OS/2 -- WAV
files work fine, but when I try the Soundblaster MIDI player I am
told I need to configure "MIDI Mapper" -- but when I do, nothing I
select seems to work, either, in fact the error message pops up as
soon as I try to close the selection.

MIDI files play just fine under native OS/2. All I can get from
searching the web are a couple of notes that seem to indicate "MIDI
Mapper" is a headache. Any suggestions? Please don't tell me it
won't work under OS/2 because I'm fairly well certain this isn't the
problem -- I would use a native solution, unfortunately for the
moment there aren't any good midi apps...
