In a recent post about an article in Science News, Bill Edinger mentioned
that reed may harbor the Streptococci virus. Since I'm on antibiotics for the
third time this year, I would be interested to know what might be done to
destroy any virus that could linger with reeds (without adversely effecting
the reed). I have often wondered if I might reinfect myself from mouthpieces
or reeds.
Also, does anyone know if products such as SANIMIST (from the Roche'-Thomas
company) will destroy such a virus when used on mouthpieces.
Perhaps some of the physicians on the list can provide some useful
information.
Thanks,
Joe Rankin
