Cobra Breath?! Is Cobra Breath the sort of thing you'd want to admit
having experience of/with? Is this still the Klarinet list? Well, yes --
it's little known, but "Cobra Breath" is an hermetic name for circular
breathing. Those adepts (e.g. Darth Vader) who use Cobra Breath for
improper ends are known as Vicious Circular Breathers (just listen to HIS
breathing -- imagine him next to you on a gig). Indeed, Cobra Breath is a
better name -- after all, what's "circular" about circular breathing?
Although you expel the air just inhaled, you don't inhale the air just
expelled, which would make the breathing truly circular but would also
result in asphyxiation. If it were not late Friday night I'd censor this
message, but I'm sleepy, and when I saw the message about (oh no! not:)
COBRA BREATH, I couldn't help myself, or anyone else for that matter.

My apologies for making light of your query, Dennis, but did you really
mean to send your message to the Klarinet list? Beware any $120
correspondence course that promises to teach you secrets of Tantric
Buddhism or whatever this is.

Does anyone have any experience, information, knowledge of Cobra Breath?

I just picked up a copy of "Jewel In the Lotus" because it seemed to
have some specific info on kundalini. During a quick skim at Borders, I
failed to notice that it said the key to activating K is learning Cobra
Breath. The catch is the info is not in the book! You have to spend
$120 for a correspondance course to learn the technique. Is this a
rip-off, or is the info really sacred and secret?
