At 12:42 PM 3/21/97 -0500, David C. Blumberg announced (to both the flute
and clarinet mailing lists) the birth of his two-hour-old son.

Mazel Tov! Does he subscribe to the mailing lists yet?

What brand flute does he play? Does he prefer a silver or a wooden
piccolo? Because his hands are probably still small, can he manage an
inline G without corking the holes?

Oops, maybe you started him on an E-flat clarinet? Does he make his eefer
reeds by trimming B-flat reeds down to size? Does he soak those reeds in
saliva or water? Or does he prefer the red wine approach?

Or something that both lists can currently identify with, which brand of
pegs does he use when he's playing in a pit orchestra?

Keep us posted about his choice of instrument, and play something nice for
his mother (perhaps on a saxophone).
