Warning:
This is loosely related to the discussion of Coda Music Software, but not
at all related to the clarinet

DELETE NOW IF THIS BOTHERS YOU. (Except for you, Sherri. You have to
read this. :-)

For all of you Trekkies out there (I know of at least one) you should be
aware that Phil Farrand, the (head?) programmer of Finale, is also an
author. He wrote the Nitpicker's Guide for Next Generation Trekkers, as
well as guides for DS9 and Classic Trek. These are hilarious books that
take a hypercritical look at the plots and productions of every episode.
(That guy sitting at the table eating--there's NOTHING ON HIS FORK!!!)
(Wait. Wasn't that battle glove on her OTHER hand before she beamed up?)
There are also plot summaries and trivia questions for every episode.
These books are well worth the price and make great gifts for really anal
trekkies (like me).
