Yes, but are you talking about playing 8 conventional instruments into
the program and converting them to MIDI, or are you talking about the
number of voices that the program can output (play) at the same time?
I would love to be proved wrong, but I seriously doubt that any program
could convert more than one voice at a time to MIDI.
