college band course like me) you can take advantage of educational
discounts. They are substantial for music notation software. Check out

They have Coda Finale 3.7 for PC or Mac for $249.
Encore 4.1 for PC or Mac for $249.

I ordered Finale from them recently on a Monday and had it on Thursday.
This firm is located in New Jersey. Use at your own risk, but I am a happy
customer.

Several of my students recently bought Encore from a large, mail-order
software distributor in Minnesota for about $300 US. They found the
supplier by doing a search of the World Wide Web. I'm sorry, I don't know
the name or address of the dealer, but I imagine most people could find it
with a little digging.
