I have heard the conclusion of the Solo De Concours by Messager played
differently on different occasions and I'm wondering what was actually
written.

I have the Stubbins book and the last five bars are G4, C3 tied, C3, C2, C2,
C. Some people I have heard play this G4, C4 tied, C3, C2, C2, C. Is there an
"Urtext" that somebody has which they can site as a definitive version?
