A mail box in HK was overflowing, so an automated e-mail
system in HK returned the e-mail to Klarinet, which re-sent it,
but a mail bok in HK was overflowing, so an automated e-mail
system in HK returned the e-mail to Klarinet, which ...

Every new message to Klarinet was sent to a mailbox in HK which
was overflowing ...

Every complaint that was sent to Klarinet about a mailbox in HK
that was overflowing was sent to a mailbox in HK that was
overflowing ...

There was this very large GIF file that was sent to Klarinet
during this time (Steve Fowler's valuable tuning chart) that was
sent to a mailbox in HK that was overflowing ...

After may people unsubscribed (people on slow links had to put
up with HOURS of downloading!) and the HK address was turned off,
things slowly recovered.
