Hi All,

I have a request from my clarinet tutor for information about a friend of his
that he has lost touch with.

She is a vocalist called CAVRIL PAYNE, and she is the sister of baritone sax
(be-bop) player Cecil Payne. They both worked with Count Basie on the QE2
cruise liner in the late sixties.

The last known location for them is the New York area, and he expects that
they may still be there. She would be in her late 50s by now.

Any information that I can pass on would be gratefully received. Info on
anywhere else to ask this question would also be appreciated.
