I decided to be a Band Director because Instrumental music was what I
was best at AND I wanted to be a teacher.

It was the fact that my music teachers in school had an
overwhelmingly positive influnence in my life that inspired
me to want to do the same thing.

Who knows? It is possible that I will do this until I retire,
but there are some days that I could not possibly want to do
anything else, and there are some days I would rather be doing
anything else. I think that may be something everyone can
say about their job.
