I first saw a clarinet in 5th grade while watching a middle school concert.
I instantly new what love at first sight was! Something magical happened and
I knew I wanted to play it. Next year when I was in 6th grade I played it in
the school band and now I'm in H.S. and I love it even more. I plan to be a
high school band director and a professional clarinetist after college.
There are three people who have helped me get started, my first director Mr.
Thompson, my clarinet teacher, and my current band director Ms. Green. They
all have contrubuted to my love for the clarinet. Next year I have to have a
new director, who ever he or she may be I hope they can help me as well.
