For all list members interested in the Bach cello suites(1-3), you
might get a copy of Frans Bruggen's edition for recorder. It is in bass
clef(he thinks you should try to feel like a cello player) and since you
can get a low e on an alto recorder by closing the end, all his
adaptations of the range then fit the clarinet perfectly. This gives a
different perspective to the pieces compared to the usual transpositions
we atre accustomed to from E. Simon or H. Voxman. I think it is
published by Zen-on, the Japanese publisher.
