Nope - nothing to do with sneezy. Sneezy & the list are two
very separate things. Sneezy is a Webserver only; there's info on
there ABOUT the list, along with other interesting items. Much of
the information on sneezy was compiled by Vic Freyer, who ran the
Clarinet FAQ for some time. I offered space to Vic when his Internet
service provider wanted to start charging him for space. Soon
thereafter, Vic changed jobs and was unable to update the Web
pages from his new location. I started maintaining them &
updating them at that time. Stan Geidel's Online Clarinet Resource
also resides on sneezy; Stan had a similar situation with his ISP.
Anyone who wants to start a clarinet-related Web page and is willing
to keep it up & provide some service to the clarinet community is
welcome to use sneezy; just send me a note outlining your plans,
and we'll see what we can do.

I would like to put in a plug for my company, Mika Systems,
which provides a 128Kb line for the computer. My boss (the president
of the company; I'm kind of a VP - but we only have 25 people)
thinks that the Clarinet pages are a great idea, returning something
of value to the community.

The Klarinet Mailing list is a free e-mail list, open to anyone who
has an interest in clarinets and who has a vali d e-mail address. It
is run by Dr. Jim Fay and Cap Bromley of Northern Virginia Community
College, Annandale, Virginia. Jim is a Professor of Music and a
clarinetist. Cap is a music school graduate (organist and MIDI) and
a Systems Engineer. I believe the computer is owned & operated by
the Northern Virginia Community College system. Again, a plug
for Jim & Cap & the Virginia Community College system, for giving us
this wonderful communications system.
