Thougt I'd put this out there and see if I get any nibbles. I used to
attend a Saxophone camp hosted by David Bilger in San Antonio, Texas. His
death is a great loss.
I usually dragged a couple of students along, also. They loved it! So
did the parents! They didn't know a sax could be played that good and
always came back better for it. But I always wanted to attend a similar
camp for clarinet players. And so did my clarinet students. While I'd be
getting my students ready for the sax camp, the clarinet players would
whine( to my heart's delight), "why isn't there one for us?". If there is
anyone interested in Texas or willing to travel to Texas and host a
clarinet choir camp and master class for a week; or if there is one going
on already that could involve 8 grade and up I would love to hear about it!
