The publications are hard to keep up with; the rights are bought &
sold so frequently! However, sometimes the music stores have the older
copies around in their stacks - I've paid some real low prices on piano
music after negotiating with the music stores ("Hey - this music is
20 years old. If you haven't sold it by now, you're NEVER going to
sell it!"). That's how I bought my new B45 Mouthpiece for $45 (or $35,
I can't remember). It was at a store that sells mostly electric
guitars & drums - not many clarinetists go in there! Included a Luyben
ligature (since they didn't know what to do with that,either).
