I myself am in the final stages of transcribing for two clarinets the
Bach Concerto for Two Violins. This is essentially a transposition
process. I am leaving it in the original SOUNDING key, thus it has
changed from WRITTEN D minor to WRITTEN E minor. The only things that I
am changing other than that are articulations, to make them more suitable
for clarinets (and I have moved one note in the 3rd movement up an octave
to make it match an earlier pattern...since the clarinet can achieve this
passage easily). I would be glad to share this transcription. Note: I
am performing this work (along with a fellow clarinettist) with the
original ripieno string parts, thus I have transcribed ONLY the solo
parts.

April, if you are interested, E- me privately.
