Subj: Bass clar.trans/low extensions

I confess, this 2nd vs. 9th math has always slightly confounded me; in
terms of the part I'm looking at, what would the difference be? Sorry for
those who find this stuff elem. Also, I was looking at the bass cl.part
to a piece of Ivana Loudova, and it seemed to call for low B , ie. under
the 2nd ledger line beneath the bass clef. Is there such an extension?
