Subject: Buffalo on the Roof

The Multicultural Folk Arts Center regrets to announce that we are cancelling
the revival of Buffalo on the Roof, our Yiddish/Klezmer/East European camp that
was scheduled to be held at Buffalo Gap this August. Various problems with
confirming staff, among other issues, have caused delays to the extent that it
became impossible to complete the necessary organizational work on a
reasonable schedule.

Having felt oursleves that Buffalo on the Roof was a very special project, we
are particularly sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience this action
will cause. However, there will be a number of other klezmer-oriented events
this summer, including Ashkenaz and Klezkanada, and we hope these will help
fill the void left by our absence.
