Ask you teacher if there is another student
at your level that you can call to set something up. This has worked for
me when I did not know other players. I have also received calls from
other students of my music teacher ( when I was taking lessons) who were
also wanting to play duets.

The practice of playing is likely to be more to the point than practicing

computer. It takes a lot of time to put music into midi. On the plus
side I have found that it tends to improve my ear as I have to read what
I intended to enter as I play it back to check what I put in.
