I have never heard of pads that are made of Gore Tek, but it is an
interesting idea. Although the Straubinger pads are not widely
available yet, you can order a set of pads from him direct. When I last
spoke with David, he was looking for a few more clarinetists to use
these pads before he markets them. Please e-mail me if you are
interested in this option and I will get all info to you direct.
