I have two old clarinets which belonged to my dentist's
grandfather (St Petersberg, late 19-th cent). Each has
only two rings(right hand 2 & 3). One has 11 keys and
the other has 12. The C# mechanism is unlike a Meuller
though the B key does flex. One is in Grenadilla and
unmarked. The other is in Boxwood and labelled Laube'
ey Cie. (a company which seems to gone out of business
in 1898). Clearly they are not Meuller or Albert.
>From the length and bore, I believe they may be pitched
in C (they need pads abd corks, so I cannot produce a
sound on them).

Where should I go to find out more about these rascals?
