It's hard to tell just from the photo, but it shows the two standing side by
side. The bells appear to be identical size, but both the next two joints
are longer on the A than on the Bb, and the barrel may also be longer. End
result - the tip of the mouthpiece on the A is higher than the tip of the
mouthpiece on the Bb by what appears to be about 1/3 of the length of the
mouthpiece itself. Ergo 20-30 mm ??? Very unscientific, I know, but
presumably fairly close.

Jay,

This is great information! I have one question...Do you actually
mean the A barrel on the Prestige is 20-30mm longer? Or is it 2 - 3mm
longer?
