I recall a piece of this nature from orchestra in college. The title
included "whale," involved recorded whale song, and was by Alan Hovhaness.

And since we're now adding wind pieces to our list, the Sea Songs by
Vaughan Williams is a wonderful march. There may be an orchestral setting
as well.
