That happened to me once and discovered it was all reed problems. I had been
using the same ones for a really long time but then all of a sudden I
couldn't project well at all even though I was producing a very nice clear
tone. I tried every reed I could get my hands on until I found the perfect
one (it took me about a month I think). I wasn't happy with anything. I was
using Vandoren and now I use Daniel's. I hope you solve your problem
whatever it turns out to be.
