I had the same problem although in my case I think it the clarinet;
however, there are things you can do. What helped me the most was
getting some tunning rings for my barrel (I have to pull out my barrel
about 3 mm). Another thing you can try is
adjusting (takes some practice but you can get to the point where it's
automatic). It could also be your mouthpiece.

A longer barrel may not solve your problem, I tried some longer barrels
and although it flattened my high range (good) it made everything else
realllly flat (bad).
