Hi David,
Thanks for your reply. I am new to this KLARINET list and it's the first
time I get to listen to so many profesionals and excellent clarinetists.
The thing is that where I live, I was (before KLARINET) isolated from the
clarinet world. When I bought my Selmer 10S, it was special ordered from a
music shop in another city in my contry.
I have never had the oportunity to go to a clarinet shop, look at many
different models and brands and try them out myself, that's why I was
thinking about traveling all the way to the U.S.
I haven't had the oportunity to listen or read from the profesionals what
the hot brands and model of clarinet are. That's why I asked to the list.
I'd like to know how my 10S compares to the Recital and others like the
Leblanc Concerto, Opus, etc. And what is the general feeling among pro
players about favorite brands and models.
What about prices, is there a "best" place to buy them? How much does each
model cost (aprox.)?
Thanks very much in advance,
Mr. Angel Morales
